Non Portrait Art Request: 

Art Request outside of the character and creature portraits may be discussed. The Art Fee for Non-Portrait images may vary from the prices given on this page. We will discuss the details after I get the Request.

Hello,

    I am currently taking commissions for fantasy and sci-fi themed portraits for characters or creatures of your design or desire. No mundane self portraits or Fan Art at this time.

STEP ONE: Message me an Art Request along with a detailed description of what you want. The more detail the better chance you will get what you had envisioned. Otherwise I will use my own imagination to create the piece. Which I am not opposed to doing if you are not completely sure of any of the details.

  • Physical Descriptions: Physical gender, race (human, dwarf, elf, and so on), age, height, weight, eye color, hair color/length/style, skin tone, clothing, weapons/equipment (if any)... every physical characteristic you have in mind, send it my way. If something listed is not well known or easily Googled then please explain.

  • Personality Traits: Someone's personality often can be seen within their stance or the way the present themselves. If you have something you feel can be physically shown and you would like it included then let me know.

  • Environment Preference: The character/creature will remain the focal point of the picture, but elements of a background will be included or hinted at. If you have an idea of where you would like them to be then please explain the location in as much detail as you desire. 

  • Image Dimensions: The default size I will make the portraits is 8"x10" at high enough resolution for printing (300 dpi). If any other size is desired let me know and we can discuss things further.

STEP TWO: I will respond to your Art Request as soon as I am able and give you some or all of the following information.

  • Queue Placement: I will let you know what number in line for Art Request you are. I will include the number of people ahead of you (if any) AND the number of images that involves (if any).

  • Art Request Clarifications: If I still have any questions and/or concerns after reading over your detailed description, I will ask you for clarifications and/or bring up any concerns I may have at this point. This clarification process will NOT change your current place in the Queue.

STEP THREE: Fee and collection of Fee will work as follows.

  1. Once you reach the top of the Art Request Queue I will contact you and pass along the payment amount and information. 

  2. The Art Fee is required at this point and I will not start the image before receiving it.

  3. I will give you FIVE DAYS to respond to/fulfill the Payment Request. If I do not hear back or receive payment within this time period you will lose your place in the queue and the next person in line will take your spot.

  4. Once the payment is received I will then send you my time estimate for completing the Request and begin your art.

Art Fees and Bundle Discounts: 

  • BASE COST: $200 PER ART REQUEST. A portrait equals one subject and elements of a background.

  • BUNDLE DISCOUNT: For every image after the first you will receive a $50 discount. Up to a maximum of $400 off! Once the maximum discount is met then any additional Art Request will cost the Base Cost of $200 a piece but it will ensure all your request are in the same queue slot. 

Art Request Cost Cheat Sheet:
1 = $200

2 = $350 ($50 savings)

3 = $500 ($100 savings)

4 = $650 ($150 savings)

5 = $800 ($200 savings)

6 = $950($250 savings)

7 = $1,100 ($300 savings)

8 = $1,250 ($350 savings)

9 = $1,400 ($400 savings)

10 = +$200 each additional Request.

Additional Art Request Rules: If you have already made an Art Request and decide you actually would like to add additional request to your order, then you may do so. However, if someone has already taken a spot in the queue since your initial request, ANY new art request will be placed at the bottom of the Queue behind any individuals who may have requested since. 

YOU WILL STILL RECEIVE ANY APPLICABLE BUNDLE DISCOUNTS.
