I've been an artist as far back as I can remember. As a tiny human my stick figures always had just a bit more artistic weight to them then most of my friends. My skills continued to grow and change as I did. Art was all I ever realistically saw myself doing when I "grew up". I wasn't sure what sort of art or where I would be doing it, but I knew doing art is what I was going to be doing with my life professionally.
Long story short, I worked my early adult years doing everything but art just to get by while I continued my artistic journey. Finally in the year 2004 I found myself employed at Simutronics as an actual professional artist, working as a concept artist, UI artist, texture artist, sometimes designer (in roughest sense of the word), whatever they needed me to do. I have been there ever since.
My kids are growing (or have grown) up and I find myself with a bit more free time now. So I have decided to dip my toes into the freelance market a bit and start my own stories that have been floating around in my crowded mind for years. So, here I am doing just that!
